fabriclink

Installation

Install Fabric Link from the Atlassian Marketplace into your Jira Cloud site. The app runs entirely on Atlassian Forge — no servers or middleware in the data path.

Marketplace install

  1. Open the Fabric Link listing on the Atlassian Marketplace.
  2. Click Try it free (or Buy now if your org has already licensed).
  3. Select the Jira Cloud site where issues should be mirrored.
  4. Accept the requested scopes and complete installation.
TODO: Replace with the live Marketplace listing URL once published.

Open admin

After installation:

  1. Go to Jira settings → Apps → Manage apps.
  2. Find Fabric Link and open Configure (or Jira admin → Apps → Fabric Link).
  3. You should see the setup wizard on first launch.

The wizard walks through Fabric connection, precondition checks, and provisioning. If you already have a Fabric workspace and service principal ready, continue to Connecting Fabric.

What gets installed

| Component | Location | | --- | --- | | Forge app runtime | Atlassian Cloud (your site only) | | Admin UI | Jira admin → Fabric Link | | Mirrored tables | Your Fabric workspace (created during setup) |

Nothing is written back to Jira. The app reads issue data and delivers it to Fabric only.
